Membership

According to its constitution, Vedic Global will define itself as an organisation believing in Sarv Jan Hitay सर्वजन हिताय (wellbeing of all), Sarv Jan Sukhay सर्वजन सुखाय (Happiness for all), Sarvey Santu Niramayah सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः (all be disease-free) and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (the world is one family). It will be open to all those who believe in Vedic values and culture – individuals, professionals, businesses and organisations aged 18 years and above without any limitation on economic or social status.

Active membership

Active membership is by invitation to individuals, professionals or business persons believing in Vedic Values, Culture and Philosophy particularly Sarv Jan Hitay सर्वजन हिताय (wellbeing of all), Sarv Jan Sukhay सर्वजन सुखाय (Happiness for all), Sarvey Santu Niramayah सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः (all be disease-free) and वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (the world is one family). The goals of the Centres will be to promote Vedic philosophy, values and culture in the community they work in, as well as to the wider world. Many projects will be organised for the local community by a single centre, and some to be organised by district, zone, country, globally as the case may be.
Honorary membership will be given by election of a Vedic Centre and Vedic Global to people who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Vedic ideals. Honorary membership will be conferred only in exceptional cases. Honorary members will be exempt from the payment of admission fees and dues. They will have no voting privileges and will not be eligible to hold any office in their centre. Honorary membership is time-limited and terminates automatically at the end of the term, usually one year. It may be extended for an additional period or may also be revoked at any time. Examples of honorary members may be people those who are doing exemplary work in spreading the Vedic Values and culture say for more than 3-5 years.
